            Organisations providing specific support to the ebXML Core Component effort

With respect to the XML based payloads, each of the organizations below have committed to submit the business content of their XML payloads as Candidate Core Components to the UN/CEFACT ebXML Core Components as a further intermediate step towards standards convergence. This submission will happen after the point that a new UN/CEFACT ebXML Core Components Specification has become an official UN/CEFACT standard.

The list of payloads is open to additions by any Industry Group that publicly:

  • Commits its support to ebXML;
  • Has currently proven XML payloads that are implemented by its members;
  • Publicly gone on record that they will submit their payload content to UN/CEFACTs ebXML CC work after the specification has become a UN/CEFACT Technical Specification."

UN/CEFACT proposal of cooperation to UBL

In the last UN/CEFACT Forum (Geneva, 9-14/9/2002), UN/CEFACT proposed that the OASIS UBL TC (see UBL tab) and UN/CEFACT core component and related syntax activities are incorporated into the work plan of the UN/CEFACT Applied Technologies Group (ATG).
